Crazy time!

ok-We have a rough few days. First I will say that we did go camping over Memorial Weekend, and for the most part we had a lot of fun. I will post some pictures later. The biggest thing is that when we were getting ready to leave, our niece who is almost 9 years old collided with one of our nephews while they were playing kick the can and fell straight back and somehow hit her head on a rock. Brett was outside when it happened, and he saw and heard it, and it seemed pretty bad. They stopped on their way home at the hospital in Rexburg, and it turned out that she had two bleeds, and a 3 - 4" fracture on the side of her head. The one bleed on the back of her head we weren't surprised about, but no one can figure out how she got the fracture and the bleed underneath it. Anyway, they had to life flight her to Primary Children's Hospital, where it has been a day to day thing. At first they thought that they would have to do immediate surgery-but the bleeding had stabilized-so they were just watching her. She was very sick, vomiting about every hour-but it looked like she would maybe be able to go home on Wednesday afternoon-then the CAT scan showed that the bleed under the fracture had not stabilized so they are still there. Yesterday's scan showed that the bleed look a little less dense-so that is hopeful. She is feeling better. So we are just waiting to hear today what the CAT scan shows. Needless to say it has been a pretty stressful few days- We have just been praying several times a day that she will be ok and be able to come home soon. I will keep everyone posted.

Other than that-we have also had the Mother/daughter party for achievement days-Nathan's 8th grade graduation and the last day of school!!!! Today is my first day of summer break-which is awesome! No more work until August 17th!! The weather is great and I am excited for the break and the time with the kids and our new boat!! We will also be picking up our new puppy Zoe on June 11th!! So we are really excited about that! I will post pics of it all! And pics of Memorial weekend to come soon!
